Terms
Last updated 3 November 2026
These terms apply to every order placed on brewnook.shop. Please read them before you order. By ticking the box at checkout you accept them, together with our refund policy.
Who we are
Brewnook is run by the business named at the foot of every page of this website ("we", "us"). You can reach us through the contact form or at business@brewnook.shop.
What we sell
We sell coffee and tea equipment for use at home: grinders, kettles, pour-over drippers and filters, tea pots and infusers, and accessories. Each product page shows the product's description, its specifications and its price. We also sell kits: a set of products chosen together, offered at a kit discount and added to your cart as one bundle.
Our products are sold to consumers for personal use.
Where we deliver
We deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom, Germany and France. Checkout only accepts a delivery address in a country we deliver to. If we start delivering to more countries, checkout will offer them.
Accounts
You can order as a guest with your e-mail address. If you create an account, you confirm your e-mail address with the link we send you, and you can then see your orders when you sign in. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for orders placed with your account. If you tick "Keep me signed in", your session stays open on that device for up to 30 days.
Prices
Prices are shown in euros and include VAT where VAT applies. The shipping cost for your country is added at checkout, before you pay; orders above the free-shipping amount for your country ship free. The total shown at the final step of checkout is the total of your order.
If you choose pounds or US dollars in the header, prices are converted from euros at the latest daily reference rate of the European Central Bank. Where a converted amount is marked as an estimate, you are charged in euros and your card issuer converts the charge. In every case you pay the currency and amount shown at the final confirmation step of checkout.
We check prices and availability again when you confirm your order. If the price or availability of anything in your cart changed in the meantime, checkout shows you the new total and you decide whether to go ahead. You are never charged a total you did not see.
For deliveries outside the European Union, such as to the United Kingdom, the destination country may charge import VAT or duties. Where these are not included in the total shown at checkout, they may be collected by the carrier or the customs authority on delivery.
Promo codes
You can use one promo code per order. Each code has its own conditions, such as a validity period, a minimum order value or a limited number of uses. The cart tells you if a code is not valid for your order. A code has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Placing an order
- Add products or a kit to your cart.
- At checkout, give your e-mail address, your delivery address and a phone number with its country code, and accept these terms.
- Pay on the secure payment page of our payment provider.
Your order is accepted when our payment provider confirms your payment. We then send you an order confirmation by e-mail. If the payment fails, your order stays unpaid and you can try again from your order page; we do not ship an order that has not been paid. An order that stays unpaid for three days is cancelled.
Payment
Payment is taken by card on a hosted payment page run by our payment provider. Your card details are entered there and never reach us. We treat a payment as made only when the payment provider confirms it to us directly; returning to our website from the payment page is not, by itself, a confirmation.
Delivery
We pass your order to our warehouse partner in the European Union, which packs it and hands it to a carrier. When your order leaves the warehouse we e-mail you the carrier's name and a tracking link, and show them on your order page. The usual delivery time for your country is shown on the Shipping & returns page and at checkout. Delivery times are estimates; if your order is late or something goes wrong in transit, contact us and we will follow it up with the carrier.
Please check your parcel when it arrives. If it is damaged, keep the packaging and tell us within 14 days with your order number and a photo.
Your right to cancel
As a consumer in the United Kingdom or the European Union you can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. How to cancel and return goods, who pays for the return and when you get your money back are set out in our refund policy, which is part of these terms.
Faulty goods
Our products must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their purpose. If a product is faulty or not as described, you have the legal rights of your country, which these terms do not reduce. Tell us through the contact form with your order number and a description or photo of the problem, and we will repair, replace or refund it as your rights provide. We pay the return postage for faulty, damaged or wrong items.
Electric products list their plug type and voltage in their specifications. Please check them before you order.
Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for loss caused by using a product other than as described in its instructions. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory rights as a consumer.
Events outside our control
If an event outside our reasonable control delays or prevents delivery, we will tell you and keep the delay as short as we can. If the delay is long, you can cancel and we will refund what you paid for the goods that have not arrived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page when you placed it.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the country where the business that runs Brewnook is registered. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of that country. Before going to court, please write to us: most problems are solved quickly that way.
